Hi All, Mark!

Heh :) That's how I felt about my little 2x13" coil running consistant
37" arcs from a 9/60. At ~2kva it burned up, mostly due to it running on
the pole-pig, and not having enough clearance between the inner primary turn
and bottom winding of the secondary. I wound mine with 32ga also, and got
the best performance with a 3x17" dryer duct topload. I noticed your coil
was set pretty close to the floor, and you got some ground strikes from it.
I always ran mine on a table.

Don't give up on the little coils, I went through a ton of 'em in my
"learning curve", mostly trying out little design quirks and whatnot to see
what would work and what wouldn't. Plus when I wanted to try something new,
I figured it'd be quicker, less work, and less $$$ to try it with a small TC
system than a large one.

Great pics! What were the stats of that little bugger?

Shad
