E-Tesla sums the E-fields around a gaussian surface that encloses the
entire coil to find the effective capacitance of the whole system. It may
be possible to modify the location and size of the surface to zero in on
small sections of the toroid but the way it computes a 2 dimensional
surface for computation and then spins that plane around the center axis to
get 3D my mess things up. I think you would end up with rings of charge as
the surface is spun around the central axis.
