Just run one phase. It will be like a 17 kVA single phase transformer. If
you get really motivated, you could rig up a bunch of capacitors, etc. or
get a suitable 3 phase motor to make a rotary converter and synthesize 3
phase power from single phase feeder.
you can also go the DC coil route...3 pulse or 6 pulse rectifier to a
filter/charging inductor.
Don't neglect the hassles of moving a big chunk of iron around though....
