Original poster: "by way of Terry Fritz <twftesla-at-qwest-dot-net>" <rblaisdell-at-juno-dot-com> we submerged our capacitor in soybean oil, then researched it and found out that some capacitor manufactures have patented this idea, so i am pretty sure it will not go rancid if kept sealed. soybean oil runs about 4-5$ a gallon at a grocery store. easily accesible and fairly cheap. it works great. peace, ry
