Re: secondary grounding terminal

I was going to use a 5 way binding post and solder a gold plated banana jack
to to bottom lead of the secondary.  On the 5 way binding post I was going
to connect some grounding strap (like the braided shield of coax cable but
heavier) and connect this to a metal plate on the base on my tesla coil
where the ground cable to the rods go.   How does this sound to you fellow
coilers??
