RE: Pink Plasma

Sorry Gary,  I was trying to be surreptitious at work and was in a hurry, 
neglecting to read the text!  It would be very interesting to build a test 
cell out of plexi that would withstand a decent vacuum to test various 
gases.  I've seen sets of discharge tubes with the noble gases on ebay, but 
the prices are not that attractive.  Maybe once I actually get a decent coil 
finished...

On a side note, has anyone else seen the Smirnoff Ice plasma displays in 
bars?  I've seen them in Denver.  They feature a nice Bell Jar shape with a 
Smirnoff Ice bottle in the center.  Nice continuous bright white arcs from 
the bottle to the glass.  I wonder if the bottle is removable from the 
inside?  If anyone knows where I can get one, please let me know.  Thanks.
