Hey Patrick
I just drilled my holes equally. then I bumped each support out to make the
spiral. For 4 supports draw you're inner diam. with a compass and start
you're first support on the line, the next one (at 90 degrees) will be 1/16"
off the line(for 1/4" spacing).The next,opposite the first will be 1/8" and
the last will be 3/16".Also, make the first support with one extra hole as
it will have you're first turn and you're last.I did it this way so I could
set up a jig on the drill press and drill all my supports at once without
resetting the jig for each one. I also would recommed at least 6
supports. One last note, I cut my supports wide, then drilled and recut just
above midway of my holes so the tubing will just snap into place after the
supports were glued down.
