Actually it should be 45" at the max. I think he ment that the toroid with 
even a larger supply would give 45" max before it would just keep sprouting 
more. My coils toroid the max is like many many 24", but with a larger toroid 
I get two 28"-30", well at least before my caps and NST's died.
