Shad,

Let me make it very clear.   You absolutely cannot series
two center tapped NST's.  But I did not suggest that you do that.
I suggested that you series two pigs.  This is very different.
When the two pigs are series'ed, this will behave something
like *one* NST.   Pigs are not centertapped, they are single
ended.  This is why you can series them.  Some small NST's
are single ended, so you *can* series them.
