Hi All,

 Hmm, maybe a simplistic approach?  Possibly someone on the list could scope
the mains waveform with no filter, the filter "properly" hooked up, and the
filter hooked up backwards on a running coil?  That'd give a rough idea of
which works better.  Might be a case of "An hour of look-see beats a month
of conjecture."

		Just a thought :)

I wasn't aware that ac line filters don't function the same in both
directions. I assume they are low pass filters.
