Hi Eddie,
I guess it really does not make any difference if the current from the NST
is rectified or not. I wonder if when the NST voltage drops below the cap
voltage if the current unloading will mess up the resonant effect?... I
have not thought about that much but I assumed it might work. I'll have to
drop a full wave bridge rectifier in a MicroSim model some day ;-) Got to
get even faster optics and IGBT drivers ordered first...
