Now there's an interesting idea.... Probably illegal as all get out, but
very intriguing. I wonder if you could rig something up that also does the
switching appropriately so you never wind up with a male plug with voltage
on it (as you do with the pair of 110 circuits to make 220 that many
(including myself) have resorted to on occasion....)
With the right circuitry, it might not even be illegal.....
