mains filtering

Hi All,
I am running the big coil on Saturday as part of a digital arts festival at
the museum. There will be a lot of things like keyboards and musical instrument
effect pedals there. It would be nice if I didn't end up reprogramming all
their EPROM's ;o-(( This would not make me popular. I am running the coil on a
different phase to all the 13 amp sockets. I do have a big mains filter I could
use. If I use that should I ground it to the RF ground or the mains ground? I
don't have the big variac grounded on the output side. I do have a generator I
could use instead. Might this be a safer option? I am not too worried about
airborne RFI as there won't be anything else in the top bay as far as I know.
Any ideas anyone?
cheers
