Hi there
Just an extra addition to your MOT supply... have you considered using a
triggered gap? They can be very useful where oyu find that the gap fails to
self arc... there is a diagram for one here:
http://www.geocities-dot-com/teslamanuk/public_html/temp/capexp.jpg and it uses
an ignition coil... try it and see!
