RE: Working with Plexiglas

OK Duck,
Lexan and Plexiglas are NOT the same. Plexiglas is more brittle, weaker,
and far more of a pain to work with than Lexan. OTOH, Plexiglas is MUCH
lower cost.
My reciprocating saber saw works OK but I run it at a lower speed using my
Dremel speed control. At full speed, it was useless. Even my rotary saw
bit in the Dremel worked (sort of) and with some experiments would be
adequate.
Regards,
Pete Komen

Having spent a LOT of time working with Lexan (Plexiglass)we've found out a
few things. We've built the entire interior of Geek-3 from Lexan (Including
the custom dash and control consoles).
