It was not a skeleton form, but I used 30lb fishing line as my spacer (and
left it on the form when done). It's cheap and plentiful, and if you need
closer spacing, then go with the 25 or 20 lb.

Hi, two things came to mind here, first you could find a string about the
same size as the wire, and the skeliton frame i built years ago i just gave
it a coat of urethane and forgot about it. i have seen coils built where
they dusted it with fibre glass(tiger hair) to help fill in between.cul
