Hi Jonathon,

N = Vnst x 1.4 / (0.9 * Vmov)

or 

N =  1.6 x Vnst / Vmov

Where:

N = Number of MOVs needed (when in doubt, round up)
Vnst = The NST's rated RMS voltage
Vmov = The MOVs rated nominal turn on voltage
