California Coilers,

We've had to skip the Southern California Teslathon this year due to
scheduling conflicts and generally burning the candle at both ends...

If the timing is right I'd drive up and participate in a Northern Cal event
(It would be great to participate without the stress of hosting 120+
people).

Recommendation - If you can find an empty building then coils can run all
day and not just for a couple hours after dark. This would give people more
run time and generally ease the time crunch.

Regards,
Brian B.

I was thinking if we could get enough people, and a place to run them - some
place in woods maybe where the squirrels would stare in astonishment. But I
don't know how many people would be enough.

I work at a company that has a huge parking lot that would be perfect for a
tesla thon but it is extremely rocky soil but I think the outside waterpipes
are all metal and would make a handy ground. I wouldn't be a bit surprised
if
the owner would love to have a teslathon and there are a lot o people at
work
that would like to see one.

It's in Chico CA next to the airport. Probably a little too far north of
Sacramento but who knows. I have bad eyes, and it would be dangerous for me
to
go to bay area in the heavy traffic but if back roads were available, I
could
go, Otherwise, Sacramento area would be better or some place in Nevada.

Any ideas?

I've also heard of a S. California Teslathon. It would be a long shot but
who
knows, maybe I could go depending on where and when.
