The Geek Group does this on a regular basis with not only complete coil
assemblies, but parts and other equipment and in-kind donations. It's what
keeps us alive. Weather it's 80 gallons of paint (donated this week), some
NSTs, cash (cash is good..cash pays the phone bill this month ($290), or
your mother in law, all donations are a complete tax writeoff and all, no
matter how small are greatly appreciated. With coils we can do something
that most other's can't. As fellow coilers ourselves, we can appreciate the
work and time that goes into building one. They are every bit as much Art as
Science, and, because of that, deserve a sort of reverence that non-coilers
never learn.
