if everything was new and it was run for testing and tweaking the arc
length ...
ummm its worth about 50 gallons of jet fuel ;) ( considering that JP-3 is
about 3$a
gallon)

my small coil is probably worth about 700$ ( everything was new except the
caps,
variac, and case ... 4 15KV 30mA NST's, acrylic 8" dia secondary, 1/4" Cu
tubing,
plexiglass supports, counter top, bolts, screws, connectors, wire, etc. the
control
cabinet has a variac, volt and amp meters, switches, and an optional timer
in it for
display usage ) and now its used... probably couldnt get much more than
250 -300$
for the whole thing ( and that probably includes shipping too :) ) plus
ALOT of my
time invested in making it...

soooo... what do ya do? keep it since there was a healthy investment and
let it sit
in the back of the shop using up valuable floor space and collecting dust
or sell it
at a major loss... decisions decisions.....
