mmmmm, sounds like when i lived in Marlborough and we were almost at the top
of the hill, used to loose the water heater elements and the coax to a
longwire antenna every time it we had a storm. i put 7 of those arrestors
that public service used, providing each with its own ground rod. the next
time it stormed, not only did the transformer blow,but the fridge,tv,vcr and
well pump got blasted. back to ungrounded service i went. cul brian f.
