Noise of coil/gap

Hello coilers,

Someone had asked how noisy a coil/gap usually is.  My present
setup which runs around a kilowatt input power is very noisy!!
I have to shout to make myself heard when it's running, and I
sometimes wear ear defenders on long runs.
