Which makes perfect sense for a SCR controller designed for 480-600VAC.
Typical industry standards (at least in USA)...
Vin VRRM (Voltage Reverse Recovery Max)
120VAC 400V
240VAC 800V
480VAC 1.2kV
600VAC 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 2.0kV *
*Depends on part availability, class of service, and exposure to severe
electrical transients.
