Hi Marc,
          After reading Bert's post and then re-reading yours to see 
what gap spacing you're using I can now see where you're coming from. 
It would be interesting to know exactly what notch you get quenching 
on and if it still works with the secondary not being allowed to 
break out. Please get familiar with your scope quickly :)
