You mean energy. A Tesla coil can produce more power out than power in but
not more energy out than energy in. The equation is

  Power = energy/time

It is obvious that by reducing the time the power (out) will increase
without a change in energy (in). In one of my books I show how three
scientists built (1930's) a Tesla coil that produced a power output of 1700
KW with only a power input of 3 KW or a gain of over 500 in power!

This comes up periodically on the List.

I would remind the List that since the dawn of Science people have
claimed they had machines that put out more power than they took in.  So
far, no such claim has been validated.

It might be prudent to treat any such present-day claim, and any data
offered in support of it, with the utmost skepticism.
