W,

A srsg can be simple or complex. Easy to build with lexan rotor.
You can modify an induction motor to make it synchronous, by
grinding or filing flats on the armature. It's always good to have
an extra NST even if you don't use it at first.

Some srsg's, and efficient coils, and theory, can be seen at my
webpage at: (I just updated the sync gap phase shifter schematic,
to show new data based on info from Terry and other list members).

Also my old page shows some more srsg's: (?)

This webpage shows larger toroids for sale, but they are NOT
for sale. Only the small 1.75" x 6" spun aluminnum toroids are now
available. None of the sync gaps are for sale either despite what
it says at the webpage. AOL no longer supports the web publisher
program that I used to create that old webpage, so I can't change it.
Unless someone can tell me of a way to change it anyway? If you
know a way, please contact me off-list. Thanks.
