Uhuh, balancing on the edge of tesla related talk here.
I have built that litle Tweeter, and it sounds absolutely sweet. Of
course I am biased towards meaning that, but it is a really cool thing
to have, and it does not make so much ozone as to be of any bother, at
least not here in my house.
The solid state audio stuff didn`t work for me, so I substituted it with
a reversed output transformer. This same transformer toasted the last SS
amplifier I had, so I had to bring out the good old 300B SE amplifier to
drive it.
Some of you might like to see the 30" homemade fieldcoil powered
driveunit that I made to accompany it for the low end. It is here
