Hi Pete,
 Don't forget to look at the other important features of the scope like,
delayed sweep, trigger holdoff
and other VERY usefull features. You may not know what these are now, but
you will after a time. To me it
would be worth the investment now, rather than later.
 Try a TEK 465B. They are built like a brick house and are common and
cheap. I bought one with a
scopemobile for $100.00 at a local auction. There are plenty of other deals
to be had on EBAY.
 View your scope as your best tool. Its hard to do good work with crumby tools.
