I'm planning to start construction on "Project Psychostreamers". Here are the 
specs I plan on: 

Power Supply: 2 MOT's giving 4000v/.5amps 

Spark Gap: 12000rpm angle grinder, 2 flying electrodes for 400bps(disk can 
fit 4 though), may be controlled by dimmer. 

Tank Cap: .3uf rated for 8000v. I will need 32Geek Group caps. 

Primary Coil: Flat, 1/4" pipe, haven't decided on number of turns 

Secondary: 6" by 30" wound with 22gauge wire. Probably 950-1000turns 

Topload: Various dryer duct toploads 

I'm a bit worried about the tank cap being kinda close to resonant and to be 
using an Async gap, will this end up being a major problem?
