CD capacitor

Here's an idea I thought I'd throw out there. Has anyone considered using a
stack of CD's as a capacitor? CD's are often free, they have big bins of free
AOL Internet CD's at the market I work at. They would stack really nicely,
and the metal on the surface of the CD is really smooth and uniform. A
capacitor made of these things would more than likely have to be submersed in
oil to prevent arcing and corona. They only problem would be finding a way to
remove the paint from a portion of the CD in order to make an electrical
connection. I have no idea what kind of plastic CD's are made of, but I
thought I'd see what some other people thought of this.
