Hi, also used to rub onto wires when winding small rf coils, especially the
ones where the layers are wound at a high angle. also used to fill most of
these comercial antenna's such as the stationmaster keeps the elements from
moving and keeps moisture out. the old timers used it on a lot of radio
stuff.
i still have a 10 lb block from when i used to soak felt triangles in
it.(used to keep ink from leaking out from around a gravure roll ofset
printing). cul brian f.
