Umm - no,  I mean Barium.  X ray indicators are made from barium sulfate
solutions of a very low concentration.  A Beryllium ceramic is used quite
often as the element insulation on high powered transmitting tubes because
of it's excellent heat transitivity and is toxic if ingested or breathed as
a dust.
