Bearden also seems notorius for coming to entirely
unfeasible conclusions. In one of his papers "Final
Secrets of Free Energy" 1993 or some such rubbish he
states that if you have an electric field othogonal or
at rt angles to the magnetic field of a magnet it
simply has the potential to produce free energy via a
E X B vector reaction. This is obvious nonscence. The
man is in his seventies now and many folks dealing in
the supposed "free energy" field have now begun to
question some of his writings. Even some individuals
have been banned from free energy lists because of
their very vocal criticisms of his conclusions. Here
is a posting I had made

Now back to Beardon; here are some of his statements I
disagree with. "Since Lorentz, our engineers are
taught
to calculate the energy dissipation flow in circuits,
and erroneously call it the "Poynting energy flow."
The result is that most "power" engineers really no
longer know the difference between energy transport
(which need not have any change in form, and therefore
have zero power) and energy divergence (which has a
change in form, hence exhibits power). Power is
rigorously the time rate of doing work. Hence it is
the time-rate of changing the form of energy. If there
is no change of form of the energy, as it propagates,
it has zero power. Further, power is developed locally
in each "dissipating" component or "component changing
the form" of the energy. It is NOT in the battery of
generator. To speak of "drawing power from the
generator or the battery is an oxymoron and a
monstrosity. Yet our texts and journal papers are
filled with just those phrases. Let us make this very
concrete. Take a charged capacitor, and lay it on top
of a permanent magnet so that the E-field of the
capacitor is at right angles to the H-field of the
magnet. Then the standard Poynting flow S is given by
S = ExH, which is maximized for a 90-degree angle
between E and H. In fact, the magnitude S of S is just
the product of the two magnitudes E and H. The
direction of S is at right angles to both E and H, and
given by the usual right hand rule. Well, even by
orthodox theory, that is a Poynting energy generator.
I just sits there and pours out free energy, directly
extracting it from the vacuum. There are two dipoles
-- one electrical and one magnetic -- continuously
serving as an asymmetry in the fierce vacuum flux."   

(HDN Comment) I am entirely unfamiliar with this
"Poynting flow" but I am somewhat familiar with the
lorentz law. As others have pointed out to me the
lorentz law only applies when the electric field E
causes charge movement: THEN a perpendicular B
magnetic field will produce a force at right angles to
both E and B in direct proportion to the charge
movement caused by E. If E causes little or no charge
movement, the lorentz force is correspondingly
reduced. Correct me when I am wrong but Beardon seems
to imply that the same conditions exist in a static
case, which by physics laws is not the case. Would
appreciate the opinions of our esteemed colleages in

I am quick to point out published discrepancies, this
document is no longer linked as a internet available
document at his website, only cited as a past 1993
publication. However at
http://www.newphys.se/elektromagnum/physics/Bearden/ 
the paper seems to be there without the above
discussion. Perhaps I got my references confused, or
the above discussion has been deleted. If I had
published it, I certainly would want that portion
deleted! Perhaps it may have been at
http://www.keelynet-dot-com/bedmot/bedbear.htm  The
keelynet server seems to be down at time of this
writing but there is also another piece of bad physics
there too. Even with these glaring discrepancies I
still give Bearden the denefit of a doubt. Remember
the analogy of blind men describing an elephant.


I do regard this E X B reaction force as a free energy
possibility if AC were applied in non saturated
ferrite, with 90 degree phased inputs. Sr Fe Rotors to
test this idea are under construction. The results of
this experimentation will establish whether
displacement currents across a Sr Fe capacity will
create a reactional force analogous to the situation
if instead there were real currents orthogonal to a
magnetic field. As we understand from the above cited
case, there is no reaction force when the fields are
static. What the experimental rotors will give is the
opportunity to test the same scenario when the fields
are in motion through space by virtue of an AC input
creating expanding, collapsing and reverse polarity
fields all producing a  theoretical unidirectional
reaction force on both E xB reaction cylinder axles.
To accomplish this the capacity needed for resonance
is constructed as an axial capacity free to rotate on
the axis of the magnetic field coils. The components
necessarily must be huge for the practical frequency
requirement made by the ninety degree phased machinery
necessary for the power inputs. The capacity to
resonate has the dual consideration of also existing
orthogonally in the core area of an opposing 90 degree
phases magnetic field, and also making the capacity
necessary for resonance to feasibly fit inside that
core. This becomes theoretically possible by the fact
that  insertion of the ferrite rotors in the core
further reduces the capacity needed for resonace by
increasing the former air core L value. Because of the
AC inputs being 90 degree phasing, when one phase has
a full magnetic field, or energy in kinetic
expression, the opposing phase will have a full
potential electric field in storage. This is the basis
for producing two E X B AC reaction forces, each
occuring on different timings. This idea seems
remotely connected to tesla's AC induction motor which
is essentially a transformer with the secondary free
to rotate. The idea is further exploited by making 90
degree coil resonances with their respective
capacities free to rotate on the axis of the
counterpart phases magnetic field.  Such a machine is
a truly bold undertaking and the overunity aspect is
the possible tapping of the energy tranfer between L
and C by a spatial reaction of moving electric and
magnetic fields in resonance. Given the use of 1000
ohm (60 henry coils made by roller insertion), with
200 ma conduction the energy transfer as true power
expended on resistive wire losses, is about 40 watts
expenditure per phase as made as the power input.
However at 360 hz intended operation the energy
tranfer rate between L and C is over 800 watts, as the
L and C quantities each are 1.2 joules changing hands
720 times per second or 1.2*720=864 joules /sec= 864
watts.

Bearden often cites numerous papers as evidence of a
principle he is expounding, yet when others read those
papers they can fathom nothing. But the phase
conjugation principle is a somewhat modern discovery

Wheeler and Feynman knew that Maxwell's equations are
themselves completely symmetric as far as time is
concerned.  When you solve the equations to
describe the way a wave propagates, you always get two
answers, one corresponding to a wave moving forward in
time and the other a wave moving backwards in time...
Waves moving outwards from an electron, or a radio
antenna, are called 'retarded waves' because they
arrive somewhere after they have been emitted.  Waves
traveling backwards in time are called 'advanced'
waves, because they arrive somewhere before they have
been emitted...
     
     When an electron jiggles about it sends out both
a retarded wave into the future and an advanced wave
into the past.  Wherever in the universe(in space and
time) this wave meets another electron, it makes the
other electron jiggle about.  This jiggling means that
the other electron also radiates, both into the future
and into the past.  The result is an overlapping sea
of interacting electromagnetic waves, filling the 
universe, as the result of a single electron jiggling
about.  Most of the waves cancel out...  But, some of
those waves, from both past and future, return to the
original electron, and provide the resistance needed
to explain observations of the way electrons behave...
 None of the advanced waves survives in a form that
would be detectable in any other way than though this
reaction, and all that we can 'see' are the familiar
retarded waves...
    The Wheeler-Feynman idea stands as the best
explanation of why radiation resistance occurs 
(today)... although you would never know it from the
way that physics is taught in most colleges and
universities...
    I'm not quite sure where to go with this next, but
"four wave mixing" in a magnetically biased ferrite or
plasma sounds as plausible as anything
else... 
              
Time Reversal and Phase Conjunction

To really understand Optical Phase Conjunction, we
need to first understand what is the difference
between a time-forward and a time-reversed  EM wave. 
Assuming a linear polarized plane wave, a normal
time-forward (or "retarded") wave obeys the "Right
Hand Rule"  
A time-reversed (or "advanced")wave will obey the
corresponding "Left Hand Rule" instead
So, what does it take to generate a time-reversed
reflection?  We need something that will either
conjugate BOTH the E & H fields simultaneously, OR 
NEITHER.

to have solved Maxwell's equations for four wave
mixing in a crystal media that not only predicts the
time-reversed reflected wave, but also a time-reversed

reflected and transmitted waves.  When I finally 
located the body of the paper at the Physical Review
web site

If you will go back to Scientific American article,
June 1994 re- Satellite Killer Weapon development
progress report from USC. you will find all the lab
results of time reverse laser beams using PCM.
Briefly, a laser beam was projected through a block of
barium titanate crystal into a wedge PCM mirror where
upon the laser beam retraced it's path directly
back onto itself out of phase so as to cause
cancellation.  The energy re-entering the barium
titanate exited the crystal at a 90 degree angle and
was hundreds of times more powerful and in the x-ray
band.   Please get the article from your library and
read about PCM time reverse waves and how they
are generated.  This is being done in the Star War
labs

The idea of how two resonant circuits
would appear when run backwards in time
has recently intrigued me by the watching
of a red dwarf episode where they landed
on an earth that was running backwards in time.
   A single series resonant circuit appearing
to an observer running backwards in time would be
the same observance as its opposite 180 phasing.
Both of these phasings can be made in a normal time
mode and interacted.
   However when the picture of a parallel resonant
circuit is made and run in reverse time there is no
way that an equivalent mirror image of that circuit 
can be made as in the previous example. In the
previous example all that was
necessary to produce a 
"mirror image symmetrical with time" was to
merely switch the positions of a coil and resonating
capacitor with regards to its input. This produces its
corresponding 180 degree phasing. When this
is done to a parallel circuit the reflection is not
different but identical. But the opposite phasing of a
tank circuit surely must be possible! But yet it is
somewhat dumbfounding to understand how this is to be
done?
The only way it can be qualified as a difference is if
that the generators themselves must run in opposite
polarities in the second case to demonstrate a 180
phasing on a tank circuit. This shows some important
considerations that may have been glossed over in 
the past. What seems to be applicable in one case may
be supposed to be all applicable when it is not!

{The above posting was made some time ago, and I did
not realize then the simple method to accomplish 180
phasings of a tank circuit. That would be done simply
by using a center tapped tranformers secondary to
power two tank circuits on either side of the grounded
secondary. As a analogy of what the BRS accomplishes
those tank circuits could also be constructed so that
both tank circuits could share the same pathway in
opposite directions of travel, from a typical center
tapped schematic application. In that case the common
path of travel will have cancelling currents, and zero
amperage. The two tank circuit loops are then combined
into one larger loop with the new condition of having
twice the L and C quantities in series on both sides,
and twice the voltage of the single sided parallel
resonant circuit. This does not change the resonant
frequency since the inductance is doubled and the
capacities in series are halved. However no return
current to the center tap will occur unless the
amperage consumptions of each 180 phasings were
unequal, because of the larger loop of current being
made from two 180 phased single loops. The same
principle is evident in a 3 phase 4 wire wye delivery
, when no return current on the 4th wire is measured
if all the phases have equal amperage consumption. The
return wire current is then made on one of the other
phases, again the example of that return wire sharing
three loops of current, where cancellation of those
currents will show zero amperage when all the loops
have equal amperage.
    If we now were to hook up the L and C tank
quantities oppositely on one side of the center tapped
transformer secondary, a new condition then exists
along the center tap pathway where the former
cancellation now becomes a two fold unity. Thus on the
shared pathway twice the amperage of each tank circuit
individually exists, and instead of a large loop
forming, a figure eight loop of current travel is
made. If this center pathway were then interupted by
an arc gap, an entirely new circuit condition then
presents itself, in the open configuration the
schematic then appears as two 180 phased series
resonances, where instead of of a tank circiut we then
have a series resonant voltage rise occuring
simultaneously on both opposite potentials. It is this
voltage rise that makes the gap firing to be enabled
at lower voltages than formerly used in single tank
circuit configurations, and should also make a mode of
operation  where that input voltage can be made low
enough the for the arc gap  to also exhibit a self
quenching ability. Thus the gap is spatially set to
fire only when the resonant rise of voltage enables it
to fire, with then changes the circuit into dual tank
configuration, and disabling the voltage rise across
the arc gap, thus quenching it.}

Perhaps in a certain sense the cancellation of return
ground currents does consist of a zero energy
cancellation potential. This is shown by differences
of bulb groundings of the large 180 phased 60 hz
series resonances. The middle or midpoint of these
series resonant connections represents a 15 fold
increase with respect to its voltage input, and 30
fold between them (at 60 hz resonance). If a
florescent and neon are grounded from each opposite
polarity rise the lower resistance florescent
grounding of one side will prevent the higher
resistance neon discharge from occuring on the
opposing series resonant coil. In a 75 ft wire
experiment, to widely separate the opposing voltage
rise grounding points, the neon discharge could be
controlled by a switch that determine whether the
florescent was grounded. The ground connections
betweeen the posts does not act as a high resistance
wire, but as a low resistance common ground. The
conductivity of the earth to recieve and interact with
high voltage  then seems manipulatable at a distant
point of grounding. This application represents a
"true" one ended wire delivery, interfacing with the
capacity of the earth. Although in 3 phase we may only
be using 3 wires to deliver power to three phases,
that wire itself also contains the return currents
from the other phases. Thus with one amp on each
phase, the 3 supply lines actually contain 1.7 amps.

It doesnt take a stretch of the imagination to
consider the the Russian woodpecker signal to be a
series resonant 180 phased arc gap scenario connected
to earth ground. It would seem easy to include a
grounded needle between the needle arc gap I have
made. This would pulse thousands of volts into the
earth. Ordinary neon bulb size groundings blink in
accordance with a 12 hz resonant earth frequency
hypothesis. By taking the observed frequency of
blinks, and finding a polar capacity that resonates to
that blinking according to the value of L being used,
the actions of the earth to act in one ended
electrical delivery  can be estimated as a capacity.
It is seen in the example of comparing the coil L
values that the acting capacity of the earth is about
a third of what would be predicted were it a polished
metallic sphere.

In the analogy of this pumped wave to resonance that
seems to gain energy we are wise to remain skeptical.
I have however made a mpeg video of the arcing effects
from 180 phased resonant rise of voltage made on a 1.5
cm needle arc gap from large coils in 180 phased
resonance. This is on the bottom link entitled

  Some have expressed their opinion that the source
frequency takes many cycles of resonant voltage rise
to come to its highest value. Apparently this is so
when the widest gap firings of this needle gap
discharge appear. If we can then concieve of the
action of the arc firing then acting in reverse time,
we also see that reverse application of the circuit
where the input voltage function then appears as the
output expresses itself as a sort of kickback arc
occuring as a 1 cm arcing across the power plug leads.
This seems feasible since the binary resonant circuit
used for voltage rise itself has point symmetry. It is
the same thing from the outside in as the inside out.
The issue of 180 phasing is that it can be made two
different ways. In the condition made with tanks on a
center tap, when they are mirror image they are still
180 out of phase. But in that condition the
cancellation of midpoint interaction occurs. By
switching the relative positions of L and C on one
side, the circuit is then symmetrical to a common
point, rather than having line symmetry. But again
this condition does not change it from existing as 180
phased tank circuits.  The only change that has been
made is that what was once a portion of shared current
loops in cancellation has been changed to unity.

These are more in the nature of the kickback
discharges shown on the video. I have also made a
taping showing the experimental evidence of time
forward waves. I am more convinced that the kickback
discharges are the conversion of the reverse time wave
into its acceptable time forward phenomenon
counterpart.Incredible enough what the  time forward
evidence consists of was portions of tapings made for
the alternator webpages. In the making of these it was
noticed the tape will supply different sets of
information, depending on where in time you start the
tape from! If you start the tape from the portion of
time where the time forward effect hits the camera,
all of the further frames will be infected wih a virus
like dimunition of visual frame degradation. This also
was noticed as freeze frame dissabling on mpegs. On
the electrical kickback video a second longer set of
information containing the full 33 seconds will occur
after closing the link which only first shows 13
seconds. It may be possible again that the same piece
of information can show itself in two different ways,
but surely there is a conventional explanation for the
way the mpeg gets shown. Some software update cures
were tried in this regard. To create this  recorded
time forward effect it merely seemed necessary to make
a larger bipolar double arc gap plate antenna across a
large water sample and to record on camera the device
while turned on.
