Hi Jason, I am not one to get into many measurements, I run a eight
segment gap probably quite similar to yours and used a old credit card to
space the gap. Worked out real good for me. You could even slice the
card up into small segments and place them between each gap while you
fiddle with your mounting arrangement and/or epoxy. I have also heard of
some folks using a postcard for their gaps. AL.
