rectified nst's and hookup

all,
i built a hv bridge out of three 12kv\550ma diodes per leg giving me a
theoretical 36kv bridge.
my question is:
i hooked each hv term. of the 12\30 nst to each AC leg of the bridge,
from +dc out to tank cap, from tank cap out to one side of the sync.
triggered spark gap, from the other electrode out to the primary, from
the primary too the -dc side of the bridge. does this sound right?
i never even looked at a dc tc before and would hate to blow something
up.
i don't want to put power to it until i get some input first.
thanks in advance,
marc m.
