Re: water spark gaps

Both Marconi ands Righi experimented with oil spark gaps around 1900. I
can't find the references at the moment. I do have a picture of a Rhigi air
gap, this has a multiple gap, using metal balls as the electrodes.
Apparently the Marconi and Rhigi oil gaps were similar but with oil instead
of air.
