Hi all,
	I have made several toriods out off S.S tubing. I am if fact building
one at the moment. What I usefully do is wrap the thing in masking tape
to give it some rigidity and smooth out the ridges and then cover it
with ally tape. As  I was pondering the 7" x 44" one I currently have in
my living room my house mate suggested wrapping gaffa (duct) tape ALONG
the large diameter rather than round the cord. This seems to work well
and gets rid of the ridges. I have now run out of  gaffa tape and will
have to wait till tomorrow, but it is looking good so far.
