BINGO !!!!!!     i had a 20' extension cord between the outlet and trannie box
...  about 15' of it was coiled and ty-wrapped to the side of the box close
to the
piggie just under the primary

just maybe the close proximity of the hi volt wire from the SRSG pick-up post
being close to the mounting bolt AND the coiled extension cord was enuf to
cause
havoc with the motor assy.

hmmmmmmmmm   ....
