HI Luc,
             For coiling purposes, transmission line is just a fancy name 
for a piece of copper pipe or strap or some other conductor. It is so 
short compared with the operating wavelength it doesn't exhibit any 
transmission line properties at all. If it did, matching would be a 
major issue.
