Hi Brad,

There is a positive side to it. Now you can join the MOTters! ;-) And now
serious.
I have disassambled 12 MO's for the past weeks, so I have some idea what
they put in there.
10 out of 12 had line filters directly behind cable entrance. I did not
calculated the used inductance, but they looked a little small to me, to
prevend 100kHz from coming in. Of course they were made to prevend the 2.45
Ghz from coming out, so we can assume they didn't helped a lot.

The cases were all made of solid steel and even the earth cable to the case
often has a coil with ferrite core. There is really no change that your MO
stopped working because of LW radiation.

If your MO has an electronic control, it is possible that an EMP of your TC
killed it. If it has no electronics, the changes are very small. Is it
possible for you to check the damage yourself? (It could be a fuse you know)
It would be interesting to know what went wrong, would it not?
