I have a 15kv 30ma NST, and it has wires perminatly attached to it.  Do
you know if the wires will be okay if i put it in the oven -at-300 degrees
and not melt on me?

                       could be trouble on most common
insulations;pvc,pe.....(sec or pri?).....even if it does not melt it will
certainly degrade. you could try wrapping the wires in aluminum foil,and
tfe tape or the like to insulate... or remove and redo w/shrink tube after
oven.....
