Unless they used it VERY near to the reactor (_HIGHLY_ unlikely), there
won't be any neutron activation of the materials. 

Surface contamination is always possible, but again, highly unlikely.

In fact, I'd say that the surplus stuff you get from nuclear power
plants
will be clean of contamination with a propability _MUCH_ higher than
from 
other (non-radiation-related) companies. They actually _HAVE TO_ measure 
and document these things if the devices come from areas where 
contamination/activation can happen. Otherwise they would risk getting
hefty punishments for law/code violations, even lose permits (just think 
what consequences even the non-significant accident at Tokaimura causes
to the 
company - just because of public panic and fear causing opportunist
politicians
to use the situation to gain popularity by "punishing" the company). 

The positive side : we, who see the facts, will get cheap equipment from 
radiation-related surplus places because of the irrational fear of
others. >:)
