Hello Dave:

Easy...cut and file the two mating ends nice and square for a tight butt
joint, then find a piece of solid copper wire that's a snug fit inside
the tubing.  The wire only needs to be about an inch long, half going
into each tubing end.  Flux the joint and sweat solder it together.
