Art supply stores sell 10lb ingots of paraffin for about $15 if I remember
correctly.  I considered this route but declined because paraffin contracts
when it cools and I was afraid that it would pull away from the NST core and
leave an air gap.

I have been meaning to mix some hot Diala-AX and paraffin and see if I can
make a mixture with physical properties similar to vasoline.  Anyone tried
this?  Even better - anyone know of a cheap source of liters of vasoline?
