I used 12 (6 on each leg) 3.3nF 1600 volt poly caps from DigiKey (Part
number P10501-ND). That gives 550pF per leg rated at 9600 volts (the
voltage could be 50% higher, plenty of headroom). The poly caps are the
same type used in MMCs and they run about $0.75 each.
