Hi all!

Interesting use for the vaseline (i prefer it under car door handles as a
practical joke myself;), but what is it's diaelectric value?  How well does
it prevent corona, and doesn't it trap heat?  Veeeery interesting :)

It depends on what your goal is.  If the container of the object to be
potted is reasonably sound, you can melt Vaseline jelly and pour that over
your object, and it will jell to its original state.  That's what I did with
my NST.
