RE: PVC or not



Speaking of coil forms.
How do those compare to ones made with several rods spaced around spherical
shapes. I remember Skip Griener (you still out there?)was making coils like
that and they were fairly short but large diameter with larger diameter
wire/fewer turns and he was getting something like 4-5 ft sparks from a
little neon. Just the opposite of skinny/tall/lots of turns. I know these
are 2 different things, the different form, and the ratio thing, but since
you have not bought the wire yet, it might be something to ponder.

I don't think so. I've never noticed any difference.
