salient motors?

Hello,

I am interested in building a RSG with either 120 bps or 240 bps.  In either
case I am looking for a salient motor (always sync at the same spot) that
won't cost me big$$$.  I need it drive a lexan disk approx 6" in diam, 1/4"
thick with probably 2 - 4 electrodes, so maybe 1/5hp or so (thats a guess).
I would like a 1800 or 3600 rpm motor.  If anyone knows a place to get one
or knows where to find something similar that I can modify to make salient
(and how to do it) it would be much appreciated.  My father was a machinist
so that may help in making any modifications.
