    I have considered this, but have been too busy with school work to try it:
(It could be a very expensive experiment.)

1. Get a motorcycle battery, or better yet , some Nickel metal hydride
batteries.
2. Get one of those super microprocessor peltier effect coolers.
3. Connect them together and put them in a copper or brass mesh box with
the business end of the cooler sticking out.
4. Make two of these.
5. "Attach" a spark gap electrode to each plate.
6. Call this the Ant arc tic gap.
7. This may not work because the lead telluride peltier junctions will cook
from induced transients.
