I haven't tested it or have any basis for my statements other than gut
feel...
Glass, as a class, is somewhat RF lossy. However, the glass they wind the
tank with may be fairly good quality (it has to be, to be able to be spun
into yarn). I would imagine the lossiness to be around that for G10 or
comparable composites. At the 100 kHz kinds of frequencies, then, it is
just fine.
